In the Peruvian village of Palma Real, a member of the Eseā€™Eja nation shares the story of falling in love and running away with his wife. As he urges for their memory to live on, he slowly slips into a haunting reverie.

About the Director

Dylan Trupiano is a director, writer, editor, and composer from Detroit, Michigan. He is one of the co-founder of sogbots, a production collective based in Los Angeles, and has directed and served as editor on numerous award-winning documentaries and short films including “Bye Bye Buddy”, an Official Selection of Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival. He is one of the festival directors for “LA’s Rich and Successful Film Fest”, an annual film festival focused on building community within the LA film scene, which received coverage from Variety. He was also recently one of 50 directors from around the world selected for Playlab Films’ Creators Lab, taught by Palme d’Or winner, Apichatpong Weerasethakul.
